BOClean has a quite different approach from all other programs to deal with trojans.
Any (covered) trojan horse will be automaticly detected and deleted within 10 seconds
of its execution (using standard manufacturer's configuration). This should be well in
time it takes to find your system and acces it, so no information is ever likely to leave

This software does an average job as an anti-trojan, and deals with other "pests" in the same way. False positives can occur though.

Tauscan anti-trojan is a relatively newcomber. In the meanwhile, it's developed into
a "full" anti-trojan, and does a quite nice good job,often detecting trojan(servers)
that other anti-trojans failed to detect. The major features:

We do consider Tauscan anti-trojan as a fair, easy to handle anti-trojan. It might not
have a database as big as f.e. The Cleaner; on the other hand it can detect /remove
trojans The Cleaner overlooks. Furthermore, it cleans/removes in a better way then
The Cleaner does. Cannot cope with polymorphic trojans!

The Cleaner anti-trojan has been around for a while; it's considered to be one of the
first specific anti-trojans around. In the meanwhile, it has become a reasonable tool,
with some nice extra's. The major features:

We consider TDS the most advanced and one of best anti-trojan around. But again: it does need knowledge to handle it.If you don't need the extra options from start, TDS-3 can be run "out-of-the-box", providing full protection. Be sure to enable execution protection. We recommend studying the help files though, and using TDS3. A registration key can be obtained here.

We are impressed by the fast scan engine, detection rate that outperforms both Tauscan and The Cleaner,  the nice feature to add custom trojan defenitions and rules and the very frequent updates. Database needs expansion.
